A £9million investment into the buildings at Holbeach University Academy, Lincolnshire, supported by installation of open control Building Energy Management System (BEMS) ensuring effective, efficient energy consumption.

BEMS Description

Linear Control Systems Ltd was appointed to install, manage and commission a building energy management system for phase one of a new £9 million building investment at the University Academy Holbeach. The BEMS was designed to be an open control system.

Work on site began in August 2012 and involved covering over 3,500 square meters of land. Within that space a purpose built sports hall was erected, alongside standard classrooms and specialist design technology and art facilities. The new buildings were designed and constructed to replace the original buildings, which dated back to the 1950s.

All of these facilities required an effective BMS, of which we were more than happy to provide.
