About this Project:

Trinity Academy was designed as a carbon neutral, modern energy efficient School.

Trinity Academy Halifax, Yorkshire, sticks by a very distinct Christian ethos and promotes innovative approaches to curriculum and rewarding students. Their vision is to inspire students through high-quality teaching methods led by solid Christian values.

Originally founded in 1815 and known previously as Holy Trinity Church of England Senior School, Trinity Academy Halifax has undergone an ambitious redevelopment project focussing heavily around smarter energy consumption and lower energy costs.

Trinity Academy moved to new £30 million buildings in September 2012, offering students, staff and parents an opportunity to experience a state-of-the-art learning environment in a modern, sustainable setting.

Smart Design. Smarter Energy Usage.

The new £27 million Trinity Academy in Halifax opened to students in Summer 2012, providing a first class education resource in which the students can truly flourish.

The work at Trinity Academy, Halifax has allowed Linear Controls to draw on extensive experience within the education sector, coupled with a proven ability and innovative approach to integrating cutting edge energy projects into exciting, modern buildings.

Trinity Academy was designed with carbon friendliness well and truly in mind, featuring a wide-ranging recycling programme and zero to landfill policy in addition to a significant solar panel presence.
