About this Project:

Phased upgrade of both buildings J1 & J2 (Iron & Steel), LCSL are carrying out a full upgrade of control panel outstations and FCU controls. This is on a floor by floor basis whilst keeping the existing site live and operational to staff. Migrating each floor to a new front end PC, whilst keeping existing site wide comms live to the old PC to ensure full control for building occupants. This includes night and working works to ensure full capacity.

Vulcan House in Sheffiled is currently being upgraded; utilising Niagara 4 supervisor software, Siemens fan coil unit controls & Frese hook up sets & PICV’s all supplied by LCSL.

Project has been designed by LCSL starting in 2019 working alongside MACE to now working for Kier & HE Barnes over the next 2 years.

  • Vulcan House is home to MOJ, NHS & Home Office staff for HM Government.
  • The site was Sheffield’s first BREEAM excellent building and was the 2nd highest scoring BREEAM rated building in the UK when first built.
