Wedge House – South Bank London
About this Project:
The Hoxton, Southwark, is an ambitious new refurbishment of a former social security office located on London’s south bank.
The Hoxton Hotel incorporates 192 hotel rooms, restaurants, bars and function rooms, as well as 4,000 m2 of flexible co-working office space, all within a sleek and contemporary building.
The first two storeys of the new building contain public areas for the hotel. Six floors of hotel rooms provide 192 rooms and a further five floors of flexible office space. A winter garden breakout space is located on the 12th floor and a bar & restaurant is located on the 14th floor.
The BMS has been fitted throughout the building utilising an open protocol Tridium Building Management system, designed to integrate the Hotel, Offices & Restaurant areas.
BEMS Description
Linear have designed, installed, commissioned & now maintain the Building Management System (BMS) at The Hoxton. The BMS integrates many items across the building, including over 200 fan coil units, the VRF system, Down Flow Units, Fan Tile Units, Electric Metering, Heat Metering, Water Metering, CHP, Packaged Air Handling Units & the Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
