About this Project:

Middlesbrough Sports Village involved the creation of a £10m multi-sports hub building set within a wider sports campus. The project involved the consolidation of several existing leisure sites in Teesside creating a purpose-built facility for a wide range of users.

The facilities included an indoor sprint track and events arena, gym, outdoor athletics track, 700-seater grandstand, velodrome and multi-use games pitches. Working for our longstanding client NG Bailey, the project was delivered on behalf of Middlesbrough Council and was handed over in 2015.

Linear Control Systems were proud to be once again working with our longstanding client NG Bailey, this time on behalf of Middlesborough Council, to deliver a Tridium open protocol solution which ensured integrated controls for heating, ventilation, rainwater harvesting and more.

BEMS Description

A Tridium open protocol solution was used on this project and was utilised within two control panels, complete with a Niagara AX front end supervisor. The BMS integrates the Heating Plant, DHWS, Ventilation Plant, Natural Ventilation System, Rainwater Harvesting, Modbus Temperature & C02 Sensors & Energy Management System.
