BEMS Description
Given the prestige of the venue, Linear Controls Systems Ltd were delighted to install a web enabled Cylon building management system within the multi-million pound Copthorne Hotel.
All 159 bedrooms have individual air conditioning units fitted with a Cylon UCU8 controller, to control and monitor the temperature in each individual room. These are operated by a VIN card system that enables the fan coil unit, the room temperature and fan speed to be adjusted via a room controller. When the room is unoccupied, an adjustable set back temperature comes into effect, to heat or cool the room dependant on temperature.
