The project involved the consolidation of several existing leisure sites in Teesside creating a purpose-built facility for a wide range of users. The facilities included an indoor sprint track and events arena, gym, outdoor athletics track, 700-seater grandstand, velodrome and multi-use games pitches. Project Location: Sheffield BMS System Fitted: Client: About this Project: Located in Lower Don Valley, iceSheffield is a fabulous ice arena consisting of two Olympic-size ice rinks and 1,500 seats for the public. Construction was completed in May 2003 to the cost of £15million and the arena is now home to the majority of hockey teams in the Sheffield area. Aside from hockey games, the venue also plays host to a number of different events including disco nights for the youth of Yorkshire.
