LCSL raise money for Marie Curie on 3 Peaks walk

Every year Linear Control Systems Ltd takes part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Each year, staff at Linear Control Systems swap building sites & offices for the more rural setting of North Yorkshire, when they take on the famous Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Workers from building management systems experts, Linear Control Systems Ltd. also recruited family and friends to support the fundraising efforts while tackling the Three Peaks Challenge.

The annual challenge sees walkers climb the well-known Yorkshire peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough on this 26.1 mile hike through some of Yorkshire’s most iconic scenery. This event has become a popular annual event for Marie Curie Cancer Care, where the worthwhile charity raise thousands of pounds for it’s local services.

Linear Control Systems Managing Director, David Davenport, said “We know how important Marie Curie nurses are in helping local people and we want to do as much as we can to get behind their fundraising activities”.
