About this Project:

City Point is a giant modern office block located in the centre of Leeds, measuring just over 5,500 square meters in total.

The building has been finished to the highest of standards and offers local businesses high-profile office space opportunities.  Located on the corner of Park Place and King Street in the middle of the financial district of Leeds, the building has attracted much attention from a number of high-profile tenants.

With seven different floors, this project certainly presented a mammoth task for us here at Linear Control Systems Ltd.

An open, web-based architecture system ensures the building management system at City Point can be managed on both the Intranet and via any PC connected to the Internet.

Cylon BMS monitoring & controlling all seven floors

All of the offices within the seven floor office block are controlled and maintained by the building management system, which is managed by the front end system installed in the reception area.

The system allows web access to the Cylon control system by automatically serving up its graphical information as web pages. This ensures that all supervisory actions, such as monitoring, adjustment, data archiving and equipment maintenance can take place from any PC on the SIV intranet or internet.

Fully open, web-based system architecture allows straightforward future integration of any new or replacement building services equipment; whether the equipment’s controller uses MODBUS or any other controller protocol, such as BACNET.
